Meet the Team

Kristi Saucerman

kristibw
Kristi is simply a force to be reckoned with, with more energy, more enthusiasm and efficiency than should fit in her 5 foot “ish” frame. Her vision is laser focused and unable to be deterred by the many obstacles that have invariably crossed her path. Auction Frogs has grown from a tiny tadpole to a “real frog” with her conviction for making it happen since its inception in early 2007. The company and its mission to help organizations raise more money, more efficiently and have fun while doing it comes from her own life experience in running fundraising events. Kristi’s passion, dedication and commitment to help others drive her both personally and professionally and is the heart and soul of the company. She has more stamina, multi tasking skills and entrepreneurial spirit with an amazing ability to work a 20-hour day yet still find time to manage her household and spend time with her two adorable little girls and husband. Equipped with her coffee and laptop, you can find Kristi in meetings, on the phone, dashing to another meeting, on the phone again, scheduling meetings while talking on the phone and sending emails all from her office in Hidden Springs during the week until her kids come home from school.

Lisa Ahrens

lisabw-1
Lisa is the Auction Frogs Specialist who can take a client with minimal fund raising experience and show them how to implement the company’s user-friendly software until they feel like an expert. Or she can arm a seasoned fundraising professional with the ability to create more money with less headaches, leaving them spilling over with gratitude! Lisa can turn any random list or fluid idea into a streamlined protocol with unbelievably functional spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentation. She has a propensity and precision for details and is one of the most efficient and highly organized individuals you will ever encounter. No lily pad would be complete without this Frog. Armed with her daily Starbucks Vanilla Non-Fat Latte, she is ready to rock! Provide marketing and auction support for Auction Frogs… she’s on it. Answer questions and complete tasks… she’s on it. Send proposals to clients and follow through with communication… she’s on it. Help teenage son learn to drive… she’s on it. Go for a walk with husband and the dog – She loves that!

Nathan Cook

Nathanbw
Nathan is the wizard behind the Auction Frogs’ curtain. Literally spotting him in daylight hours is a rare occurrence as he is somewhat nocturnal and able to function on absurdly little sleep. He can actually program ALL NIGHT if bribed with his favorite Chinese food. He is the programmer / designer of the auction software and each design for the online benefit auctions. Nathan is the brilliant mastermind that is able to translate human language into web code with ease. He is completely self-taught, has been programming for 10 years, married his teenage sweetheart and has two adorable girls and his wife is expecting!

Sarah Pokorney

sarahbw
As the proverbial happy square peg in the round hole of life, Sarah Pokorney, Auction Frogs copywriter is a real life GI Joe… er… Jane. Her 13-year career in the Air National Guard has taken her to all ends of the world and equipped her with the skills to be a team player, adapt quickly, and make the most of any situation. Currently serving as a journalist for the National Guard, Sarah’s ability to complete any task thrown at her, no matter how late or how complex is a compliment to her personality as a “git ‘er done” kind of gal. Her resourcefulness, creativity and passion for writing have clearly shown through as she creates content for blogs, articles, sparkling press releases and more. When Sarah’s not playing the part of copywriter for Auction Frogs, or working for the BSU Tech Center, you can find Sarah at home with husband and dog as they plan for their first precious cargo… due in August 2011.
