How It Works

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do the donations come from that are listed on the auction?

A: Each individual organization hosting an online auction will seek out their own auction donations.
Auction Frogs works closely with the organization to help identify internal donations within their own
constituency as well as the common donations within the community that frequently donation to
fundraising auctions.

Q: Does Auction Frogs offer Consignment Trips?

A: Auction Frogs has a comprehensive database of Unique Trips and Experiences available to list in
your auction. If the trip doesn’t sell, there is no cost to the listing organization. But if the trip does sell,
the organization makes the difference between the cost of the trip and sale price to the winner.

Q: Can our business sponsors be featured on the auction sites?

A: Most definitely, business sponsorships should be explored. This is a fantastic way to generate
additional revenue. The business sponsor will drive traffic to your site adding customers to your auction
and your organization will be exposed to the advertisement and likely patronize the establishment. The
goal would be to acquire multiple sponsors.

Q: What are the benefits to businesses donating to an Auction Frogs Online Auction?

A: Business donors will receive great marketing benefits on each of their auction listings with their
website link and logo on each auction donation.

Q: How do I send an auction listing to a friend?

A: There are a few options for communicating to peers about auction listings. On each auction listing,
there is a link that says “Send to a friend”. This link will generate an e-mail to a friend containing a link to
the auction item. A second option is the “Share This” icon. Each auction listing will offer a “Share This”
icon allowing users to post to any of their favorite social media outlets to help spread the word about the
auction listings.

Q: Do you accept credit card payments when winners check out?

A: Yes. Merchant services are offered at the close of the auction and direct links to pay for such items
will be accessible at the close of the auction or immediately following a “Fund a Need ” or “Win it Now”
transaction.

Q: Can our organization archive the data collected during an auction?

A: Yes, all data including donor information, registered bidders and bidding general reporting is archived
for your use and accessible at all times.

Q: Will my user name work for all auctions?

A: Yes. Once you have created an username and password you can use it to access all auctions.”
